King's Cross, London's newest creative neighbourhood, launched its 'traditionally untraditional' Christmas. King's Cross has become known for its unconventional take on Christmas, and 2020 is just as extraordinary.<br />
Set throughout the King’s Cross neighbourhood are three iconic Christmas trees, each delivering an alternative, unexpected interpretation of the traditional festive tree. Granary Square plays host to the Electric Nemeton Tree, designed by local architecture practice Sam Jacob Studio. In Coal Drops Yard sits the Terrarium Tree, a sustainable creation comprised of 70 living Botanical Boys terrariums and in Battle Bridge Place is the People’s Tree, an interactive multi-coloured installation illuminated by the steps and sensory movements of visitors.
